Dataset about Vietnamese civil servants (Original data)

This dataset was constructed to measure the impact of digital skills on the output of local government officials in Vietnam to meet research needs. We employed the snowball sampling technique to collect online survey responses from civil servants currently working in local government agencies across all six socio-economic regions of Vietnam in the post-amalgamation period. Within 20 days (from November 15, 2025, to December 5, 2025), a total of 458 responses were collected, but some were not eligible for analysis such as extreme answers (all answers were 1 or 5) and arbitrary answers (trap questions). The remains of 380 samples were used for further analysis with the rate of 82.9%.本数据集旨在评估数字技能对越南地方政府官员履职产出的影响，以满足相关研究需求。我们采用滚雪球抽样（snowball sampling）技术，在行政区划合并后的阶段，面向越南全国六大社会经济区域内的现任地方政府机构公务员收集线上调研问卷反馈。在2025年11月15日至12月5日共计20天的调研周期内，共回收初始问卷458份，但其中部分答卷因不符合分析标准被剔除：包括极端作答（所有选项均为1或5）以及未通过陷阱题（trap questions）检测的随意作答问卷。最终留存380份有效样本，有效率达82.9%，用于后续数据分析。
