PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade exchange unit which can easily acquire a position of a mount for attaching a cutting blade thereto. SOLUTION: A blade exchange unit 7 comprises a blade chuck 82 for holding a cutting blade 21， a moving unit 84 for moving the blade chuck 82， and a control unit 100 for controlling each unit. The blade chuck 82 comprises a plurality of conductive claws 825 for holding the cutting blade 21. The control unit 100 detects the conduction of the claws 825 and a boss part. The control unit 100 comprises a calculation part 102 for controlling the moving unit 84， making the claws 825 contact with at least three points of a mount， and calculating a position of an axial core of the mount from a coordinate in which the conduction is detected， and an attachment/detachment control part 103 for attaching and detaching the cutting blade 21 by aligning an axial core 821 of the blade chuck 82 with the axial core of the mount which is calculated by the calculation part 102.
