Microorganisms recruited by plants could enhance the uptake of nutrients by plants. It was unknown to what role rhizosphere microorganisms play in the growth of tea seedlings. The 16S rRNA of rhizosphere microorganisms of tea seedlings was sequenced and analyzed to characterize the rhizosphere soil microbial community at various stages of growth and the function of rhizosphere microorganisms. The results showed that these microorganisms enriched in the rhizosphere soil were associated with nutrient cycling in the soil, especially nitrogen cycling, including nitrogen fixation, nitrate reduction, nitrate respiration, nitrogen respiration and denitrification. The results of the pot experiments also showed that the synthetic communities significantly improved the use of nitrogen and promoted the growth of tea seedlings. The study shows that rhizosphere microorganisms can promote the growth of tea seedlings by promoting nutrient cycling in the soil, which provides a new strategy for improving the survival rate of tea cuttings.
