Phylogeny, population structure, and conservation genomics of Galapagos vermilion flycatchers (genus Pyrocephalus)

Galapagos vermilion flycatchers used to inhabit most of the Galapagos archipelago (12 islands), but recently it disappeared from four islands and is about to disappear from three more. We carried out phylogenetic studies on this group of birds in the Galapagos, using whole genome sequences. To assess if there is genetic exchange between islands and highlight their conservations.
