Standing above ground biomass (AGB) for the 1 hectare plot was calculated based on measurements taken in 2012. Measurements included the DBH (cm), height (m) and wood density (g/cm³) for stems ≥10 cm DBH. Estimates of AGB (kg) were based on the model 4 equation described in Chave et al. (2014):
AGB = 0.0673 x (ρD²H) 0.976
where D is DBH, height is H and wood density is ρ.
