The microbiota of infant stool samples collected at 3 months and 1 year of age from a subset of the CHILD Cohort was characterized by amplicon sequencing of the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene. The primary goals of this project include characterizing the influence of breastmilk feeding practices on infant gut microbiota and identifying associations between infant gut and breast milk microbiota. This project is related to microbiota in breast milk samples that are registered under separate BioProject accession numbers (PRJNA481046 and PRJNA597997).
