Brazilian Portuguese Legislative Documents: A Dataset from the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte

Legislative documents are basic pillars of democratic societies, defining the rights and responsibilities of citizens, besides establishing laws and regulations that govern societal interactions. However, research in the legislative domain in Brazilian Portuguese is underexplored, with a notable scarcity of resources, such as models and datasets, tailored to the legal field. This work provides a curated dataset comprising 1,869 proposals from the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte (ALRN), from January 2019 to April 2024.立法文件是民主社会的基本支柱，不仅确立了规范社会互动的法律法规，同时也明确了公民的权利与义务。然而，针对巴西葡萄牙语立法领域的研究仍未得到充分探索，专门适配法律场景的模型、数据集等相关资源显著匮乏。本研究构建了一份精选数据集，收录了2019年1月至2024年4月期间北里奥格兰德州议会（Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte，ALRN）的1869项立法提案。
