资源简介:
Seed systems have the potential to be a safety network when different stresses impact agricultural systems. However, we poorly understand the level of resilience of seed systems particularly of Neglected and underutilized species. In the Andes, three species are culturally relevant: Majuas (Tropeaolum tuberousm), Ocas (Oxalis tuberosum), and Olloco (Ullucus tuberosus). Hence, this study focused on understanding how seed systems of Majuas, Ocas, and Ollocos change in good and bad years. To reach our goal, we surveyed 90 farmers that planted any of the three crops. We asked them about their seed exchanges and agrobiodiversity during good and bad years. We used a convenience sampling strategy using the list of shagreros in Cumbal - Colombia. Hence, this dataset contains the following sections: Household characteristics, Management roles of Majuas, Ocas, and Ollocos, Seed exchange and agrobiodiversity during good and bad years, and lunar calendar for the management of this three crops. In addition to it, we attache the survey in XLSform to make it reproducible for other researchers. The list of questions is in the "Survey_Questionnaire_XLSform" and the option file is in the "choices_xlsform".
