Overview This dataset accompanies the article introducing a novel Human-Robot Interaction paradigm where sketching is employed as a tool to investigate and train symbolic communication. The dataset includes drawing prompts and participant sketches.The data support the experimental evaluation of how humans generate sketches in response to textual prompts that refer to different semantic categories: objects, actions, and interactions.The dataset is organized to allow researchers to analyze drawing strategies and semantic representation through sketches. Preliminary findings reported in the accompanying manuscript indicate that drawing strategies vary significantly depending on semantic complexity and the presence of an interaction goal.
