Bacillus cereus BSA_1 was isolated from maize rhizosphere collected from Ayeka, Okitipupa, Nigeria. The bacterium was screened for plant growth-promoting traits and maize seed bioinoculation was achieved in the laboratory, screen-house, and field. The research suggested possible exploration of the rhizobium as bioinoculants for improved agricultural productivity.
