This debris flow dataset for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was compiled via literature reviews. The authenticity of the collected debris flow data was validated by identifying debris flow scouring traces (including river channel sediments, exposed rock surfaces, damaged vegetation, fan-shaped alluvial fans, and scouring marks on debris flow gullies, etc.) using 2022 remote sensing imagery, thereby confirming historical debris flow events along the CPEC. Additionally, by comparing pre- and post-debris flow remote sensing images paired with 2010 remote sensing imagery, changes in surface features were observed.
