Dedicated James Clerk Maxwell working-edition record for A Treatise on Electricity and Magnetism, Volume I. This version adds a compact pp.001-059 source-verification checkpoint package and the IA master-image index/source-intake helper while retaining the earlier ledger-backed source-witnessed working tranches for book pages 95-101, 103, 105, 109, and the main continuous run 111-267. Status at a glance. This is not a complete Treatise edition and not a final critical edition. It should be cited as source-witnessed working tranches. The pp.001-059 package contains editable TeX, reader PDF, LaTeX log, compact source-scan witness PDF for printed pp.001-059, page/editorial ledgers, verification logbook, notation diary, and math/token ledgers currently refreshed through pp.001-058. The source-intake ZIP contains IA/DLI metadata, file manifests, candidate scan comparison, master-image indexes, row counts, URL probe results, and a README for reconstructing source-image provenance across the Maxwell Vol. I/II scan candidates. The packages are compact public checkpoints distilled from a much larger local verification tree. Source-check ledgers and source witness images govern promoted range claims. OCR/XML material is used as a locator/witness layer, not as textual authority. The current pp.001-059 TeX/PDF is a verified working checkpoint; readers should use the included page log and math/token ledgers for audit and continuation. Page 059 should be incorporated into the next machine-readable math/token register refresh. Corrections and contributions.
