资源简介:

Fusarium disease is an infectious condition that occurs in the cultivation of kuruma shrimp Penaeus japonicus, primarily presenting as lesions in the gills. The lesions contain proteolytic enzymes (proteases) that are suspected to be produced by bacteria. In this study, we aimed to clarify whether fungal-bacterial mixed infection occurs in the gill lesions of fusarium-infected kuruma shrimp in recent cases of Fusarium disease. First, Tenacibaculum sp. bacteria showing protease activity were isolated from the gill lesions. In contrast, Fusarium sp. fungi did not exhibit protease activity. The Tenacibaculum sp. bacteria was identified as Tenacibaculum mesophilum based on an analysis of the whole genome sequences, and it was predicted that these strains encoded multiple protease genes.
