This experiment assessed transcriptional changes in embryonic dorsal forebrain in male and female offspring to determine the sex-specific mechanism(s) by which chronic gestaitonal exposure to arginine vasopression (AVP), a mouse model of the hypertensive gestational disorder preeclampsia, alters neurodevelopment. Overall design: RNA was isolated from male and female E18 dorsal forebrain following maternal infuson throughout gestation with vasopressin or saline via a subcutaneous osmotic minipump.
