DESIGN TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN'S CLOTHING CONSIDERING PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The design of clothing for school-age children requires a comprehensive understanding of their psychophysiological characteristics, including physical growth, motor activity, sensory perception, and psychological comfort. Modern clothing design technologies should not only focus on aesthetic and functional qualities but also ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children. The purpose of this study is to develop design technologies for school clothing that consider the psychophysiological characteristics of children aged 7–12 years. The research analyzes anthropometric parameters, physiological development, and psychological factors influencing clothing comfort and usability. In addition, modern textile materials and ergonomic design methods were examined. The results show that clothing designed according to psychophysiological requirements improves children’s physical comfort, freedom of movement, and emotional well-being during educational activities. The proposed design technology includes ergonomic pattern construction, breathable and hypoallergenic fabrics, safe fastening elements, and adaptive sizing systems. These findings contribute to improving children’s clothing production technologies and ensuring better conditions for children’s development and daily activities.
