资源简介:
The dataset includes three ".avi" videos acquired during the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), a.k.a. Selective Laser Melting (SLM), of an AISI 316 part on a Renishaw AM250 system. The videos were acquired by means of an OlympusTM I-speed 3 camera (CMOS sensor) placed outside the build chamber viewport (sampling frequency of 300 fps). The three videos are representative of out-of-control conditions, where hot-spot events occurred during the process in correspondence of acute corners belonging to overhang areas of the part.A hot-spot phenomenon consists of a local over-heating of the layer caused by out-of-control heat exchanges, which may produce internal and geometrical defects in the final product. The goal of an in-situ monitoring methodology based on high-speed video imaging consists of signalling the hot-spot onset as soon as possble during the process. All the details about the dataset can be found in: Colosimo, B.M., Grasso, M.
