资源简介:
In 2022-23 the TRUSTING education program was rolled out across the UK, delivered by 5 healthcare professionals trained in delivering the course. Participants in the workshops were healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of patients with breast cancer who may be undergoing genetic testing.Participants were asked to complete pre and post workshop questionnaires assessing their intolerance of uncertainty, knowledge and confidence in talking about genetic testing in breast cancer as well as feedback on the course and a follow-up questionnaire about the impact of the workshop on their practice and mainstreaming of genetic testing in their setting.A publication detailing the results is currently under review. These data are csv files of response from the 120 participants who attended the workshops.
Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS-12, Carleton et al 2007) (TRUSTING22-23_Intolerance_of_Uncertainty.csv)12 questions with 5 point scales rating how much each item is representative of themselves. High scores represent higher intolerance of uncertainty.Confidence questionnaire (TRUSTING22-23_Confidence.csv)A study-specific ten-item questionnaire for attendees to self-rate their own confidence pre and post-workshop when discussing risk and uncertainties in breast cancer genetics, on a scale from 1 (not at all) to 10 (very confident). The blank questionnaire is also attached (TRUSTING Confidence.pdf)Knowledge questionnaire (TRUSTING22-23_Knowledge.csv)An 18 item Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ) developed by us to assess knowledge about genetic testing in people with and without breast cancer. Data show correct (1) or incorrect (0) responses to each question. The blank questionnaire is also attached (TRUSTING Knowledge.pdf)Feedback (TRUSTING22-23_Feedback.csv)At the end of the workshop, participants were asked to rate the workshops and facilitators’ approach (from 1 – 10) and whether they would recommend the workshop to others. Where participants did not provide a response, the cell in the datafile has been left blank.Follow-up (TRUSTING22-23_Follow-up.csv)3-12 months after attending the workshop participants were asked to complete a short questionnaire about how they felt the workshop had impacted their practice, thoughts on what could be included in future workshops and how they felt mainstreaming of genetic testing was going in their Trust/service. The blank questionnaire is also attached (TRUSTING follow-up.pdf)
