Muscle-specific rescue of Bmal1 impacts survival and health span of the Bmal1-KO mouse

This dataset was generated to investigate the muscle and systemic effects of muscle-specific Bmal1 expression in the Bmal1-KO mouse model Overall design: Adeno-associated virus were used to rescue the expression of the clock gene Bmal1 in the Bmal1 KO. Skeletal muscle, lung, heart, liver, and white fat tissues from 10 and 40-week-old WT, KO, and KO+AAV male mice were collected at ZT1 to characterize the muscle and systemic effects of muscle-specific expression of Bmal1.
