Scorpion Burrows

A small dataset containing counts of scorpion burrows carried out on three occasions (2005, 2006, 2008) inside wildlife exclosures, in surrounding rangeland (accessed by wildlife including bat-eared foxes and other predators), and on an adjacent sheep ranch (access by wildlife and sheep). All counts were in defined quadrats 5 m x 5 m in size. It was assumed that a clearly defined burrow indicated the presence of a live scorpion (Opisthophthalmus palidipes).
