Staphylococcus aureus transcriptome following exposure to nanostructured titanium

Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 whole transcriptome was measured under 3 conditions: a) when cultured overnight in a planktonic culture, b) when attached to a flat titanium surface for 24 h, c) when attached to a nanostructured titanium surface for 24 h. The goal was to determine the transcriptomic changes that occur when planktonic cells attach to flat titanium and how these changes differ when planktonic cells attach to nanostructured titanium.
