### Overview

This dataset contains raw hyperspectral images of the Begguya ice core (core ID: DEN13A), collected as part of imaging efforts to analyze ice core stratigraphy and composition. Each scan corresponds to a section of the core and is labeled as `ICF_DEN13A-{CoreSection}_{Scan#}`. The accompanying metadata file, HSI_Denali.xlsx, provides detailed contextual information for each scan, including lighting conditions, exposure settings, scan date, and precise depth measurements. For each scan, the data package includes a preview image (.png), system-generated metadata, and the raw hyperspectral data files (.raw, .hdr, .log) in an ENVI (Environment for Visualizing Images) format for the sample, white reference, and dark reference. This dataset supports advanced analyses of optical properties in ice cores layers.
