Field reference data for Scots pine crown position and Viscum album infestation level classification

This dataset contains field reference data for individual Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) trees, including crown position within the forest stand and visually assessed levels of mistletoe (Viscum album ssp. austriacum) infestation. The data were collected as part of the study “Mistletoe infestation level classification in Mediterranean Scots pine forest using UAV-based multispectral and LiDAR data” and were used to define the infestation classes and provide field reference information for the analysis of UAV-based multispectral and LiDAR-derived variables. The dataset is intended to support the reproducibility of the study and facilitate further research on remote sensing-based monitoring of mistletoe infestation and forest health.
