This dataset was collected by Jasmine McGann at Curtin University and the Australian Synchrotron, Clayton, Victoria in 2017. Plastic cards were analysed by ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, with chemometric analysis carried out to investigate variations in their chemical composition. Specific structural and chemical differences were further investigated using high-resolution infrared imaging at the IRM beamline, Australian Synchrotron, Clayton, Victoria.
Chemometric analysis was carried out using Unscrambler X v10.4
