Collagen triple helix repeat containing 1 (CTHRC1) has been reported to be associated with tissue repair in response to injury. To investigate the role of CTHRC1 in the skin wound repair, we used next-generation sequencing (NGS) to clarify the changes of transcriptome in the mice skin wounds after Cthrc1 deletion. Using NGS, we explored the differences in gene expression in dermal tissues of wild type (WT) and Cthrc1-/- murine model of paired equivalent-sized wounds. Samples were examined at day 0 and day 7, and represented by 3 biological replicates.
