Awareness of Temporomandibular joint dysfunction among North- Indian college going students. A survey study.

The temporomandibular joint is a complex and small joint, that can have severe patholgy at times, symptoms related to which often get neglected due to lack of knowledge and awareness most of the times. The aim of the study was to find out the awareness about Temporomandibular joint dysfunction in North-Indian college-going students, 200 samples were recruited and were provided with an online questionnaire using Google form including questions related to TMJ dysfunction awareness. At the end of data collection and analysis, it was found that a fair number of participants were aware of TMJ dysfunction.
