DFE of single nucleotide variants across an antibiotic gradient

This study determined the distribution of fitness effects (DFE) for single nucleotide variants of a gene providing resistance to glycopeptide antibiotics of the bleomycin family. The DFE was determined along a gradient of antibiotic concentrations (phleomycin at 0, 5, 15, 40 and 100 µg/ml) for both non-synonymous, synonymous and regulatory mutations.
