Data for "Eco-friendly preparation of titanium dioxide / carbon nitride nanocomposites for photoelectrocatalytic applications"

This dataset accompanies the publication titled "Eco-friendly preparation of titanium dioxide / carbon nitride nanocomposites for photoelectrocatalytic applications", which can be found at DOI 10.1039/D5NA00478K. This dataset contains characterization data for TiO2 powders and TiO2/g-C3N4 nanocomposites. More specifically, XRD patterns, XPS spectra, DRS spectra, SEM images, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms, and cyclic voltammograms are provided. This dataset accompanies the publication titled "Eco-friendly preparation of titanium dioxide / carbon nitride nanocomposites for photoelectrocatalytic applications". The following naming of samples is used in the file names: (L)-TiO2(/g-C3N4)-T, where “L” indicates that the sample was lyophilized prior to thermal treatment and T is the temperature of the synthesis. For instance, L-TiO2/g-C3N4-300 refers to a TiO2/g-C3N4 nanocomposite that was lyophilized and then subjected to thermal treatment at 300 oC. In addition, some of the files contain XRD patterns for samples, which consisted of TiO2 sol mixed with melamine and annealed at different temeratures.
