资源简介:
Retailers are increasingly introducing social robots onto the store floor, yet rigorous evidence on the drivers of customer satisfaction in real-world settings remains limited. Drawing on servicescape/congruence perspectives and task–technology fit theory, this study advances a contextual fit framework that explains satisfaction as a function of perceived alignment between the robot and (a) the store environment (store–technology fit), (b) the individual user (individual–technology fit), and (c) the advisory task (task–technology fit). To evaluate the framework, an empirical field study was conducted in a Dutch garden center, where customers interacted with a social robot providing in-store product advice (N = 224). The dataset includes the following constructs, and the item-level data for their measurements are available in the accompanying CSV file: task–technology fit, individual–technology fit, store–technology fit, satisfaction with the robot, satisfaction with the store, purchase involvement, gender, age, and (store) shopping frequency.
