Amplicon Sequencing of Refuse Dervied Fuel. RDF

Microbial composition analysis of RDF microbiome exhibited complex microbial community established on less biotic and more xenobiotic materials. Functional analysis revealed presence of autotrophic and heterotrophic pathways for metabolizing organic matter along with presence of pathways for many xenobiotic compounds. These indicates the possibilities of exploring microbiome for screening of microorganisms and gene pool for biotechnological applications.
