缺乏长序列、高质量太阳辐射数据一直是困扰科学界和工业界的难题。本研究利用两个地表辐射模型开发了一套基于站点估算的长序列、高密集、高分辨率日平均地表太阳辐射数据集。一个模型是Yang等人(2006)开发的总辐射估算模型,另一个模型是Tang等人(2018)开发的直接辐射估算模型。辐射数据集开发所需的主要输入是:中国气象局(CMA)2743个常规气象站观测的地表气压、气温、相对湿度、水平能见度和日照时数等常规气象变量。基于地表辐射观测的验证以及和两个基于卫星估算的辐射产品的对比表明,我们基于站点估算的辐射数据集在日尺度和月尺度上都明显优于基于卫星反演的辐射产品。此外,我们发展的数据集长度超过60年,且包括总辐射、直接辐射和散射辐射三要素,这个优势是卫星辐射产品不具备的。本研究发展的基于站点估算的辐射数据集将有助于气候变化研究和太阳能工程应用。

The lack of long-time-series and high-quality solar radiation data has long been a challenging issue plaguing both the scientific community and industrial sectors. In this study, we developed a long-time-series, high-density, high-resolution daily average surface solar radiation dataset based on site estimation using two surface radiation models. One is the global solar radiation estimation model developed by Yang et al. (2006), and the other is the direct solar radiation estimation model developed by Tang et al. (2018). The main input data required for developing this radiation dataset include routine meteorological variables observed by 2743 routine meteorological stations under the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), such as surface air pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, horizontal visibility, and sunshine duration. Validation based on surface radiation observations and comparison with two satellite-based radiation products demonstrate that our site-estimated radiation dataset significantly outperforms satellite-retrieved radiation products at both daily and monthly scales. In addition, our developed dataset has a time span of over 60 years and covers three components: global solar radiation, direct solar radiation, and diffuse solar radiation, an advantage that satellite radiation products do not possess. This site-estimated radiation dataset developed in this study will facilitate climate change research and solar energy engineering applications.
