Cytotoxic activity in the MTT-assay (quantified – to +++), membrane damage measured by entry of PI in flow cytometry (quantified – to +++), aggregation of cells observed by the eye and in light microscopy (semiquantified – to +++), and morphologic changes of the cells visible in SEM (- or +) are summarized.
