Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common type of arthritis, and an important cause of disability that degrades quality of life and causes substantia economic loss. Therefore, the development of disease-modifying drugs that confer both structural and symptomatic benefits is needed for OA treatment. We examined the effect of JD on inflammatory cytokine production and phosphorylation of NF-kB in synovial cells.
