Geogenic soil CO2 flux in a restricted extent close to a CO2-rich groundwater well in a tectonically quiescent area

Soil CO₂ flux was investigated in a limited extent close to a CO₂-rich groundwater well in a tectonically quiescent area by the accumulation chamber method using both LI-COR 8100A (LI-COR Inc., Lincoln, Nebraska, USA) and EGM-5 portable CO₂ gas analyzer (PP Systems, Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA). Performance of the two devices was compared by simultaneously measuring soil CO₂ flux at several points of geogenic and biogenic CO₂ origin using both instruments.
