Here, denotes the total number of participants in the stratum and treatment group; denotes the number of participants in the stratum and treatment group that experienced the event at least once, i.e. the number of cases in that stratum and treatment group; estimated probability (as a percentage) of hypoglycemic symptoms occurring in the 30 days prior to a quarterly visit with its asymptotic 95% confidence interval (CI); and the nominal p-value for the treatment by subgroup interaction term. HbA1c was the only subgroup with a statistically significant interaction (other subgroups are omitted).
