Supplementary Dataset: Landfill Site Allocation Multi-Objective Optimization with NSGA-II: A Case Study on Fogo Island, Cape Verde

This repository contains the complete geospatial dataset and input files required to reproduce the methodology and results presented in the research paper "Landfill Site Allocation Multi-Objective Optimization with NSGA-II: A Case Study on Fogo Island, Cape Verde", submitted to IEEE Access. Due to file size limitations on GitHub, the large raster and vector files are hosted here to ensure long-term availability and reproducibility. Contents: Geospatial Vector Data (.shp): Shapefiles for Fogo Island geology, protected areas, road networks, urban areas, hydrography, and administrative boundaries. Raster Data (.tif): Digital Elevation Models (DEM) for slope and aspect calculations (UTM Zone 26N). Input Data for Optimization: Standardized CSV files containing the criteria values for the 473 candidate sites.
