A dataset of carbon and water fluxes of the shrubland ecosystem at Ansai Station (2018, 2020)

This dataset is the observation data of carbon and water flux in the Ansai shrubland ecosystem in 2018 and 2020. The data collection site is located at the Duntan experimental site of the Ansai National Field Science Observation and Research Station in Ansai, Shaanxi Province(Ansai Station). The experimental site is in the forest grassland area where the warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest transitions to grassland, representing a typical temperate shrubland grassland ecosystem on the Loess Plateau. A standardized dataset of ecosystem carbon and water fluxes and key meteorological elements has been developed based on the ChinaFLUX data processing specifications. The annual data consists of eight Excel files, divided into two categories: LITE, which includes major fluxes and meteorological variables, and ALL, which adds data quality and interpolation indicators on top of LITE. Each category has four data files, including data files at four scales: half-hour (HH), day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY). This dataset is of great significance for accurately evaluating the status and role of carbon and water fluxes in temperate shrubland ecosystems on the Loess Plateau in regional and global carbon and water cycles.
