This dataset provides the operational and reproducible backbone of the research article: “Smart Data Management in Circular Construction: A Sustainable Business Model for Stakeholder-Material Coordination” (Menny et al., 2026). It constitutes a multi-layer, design-oriented research dataset supporting the development, simulation, and evaluation of digital platforms for circular construction ecosystems. The dataset is structured as an integrated research infrastructure combining: Computational modeling of business performance, user adoption, and sustainability impacts Socio-technical system mapping of stakeholder interactions, information flows, and coordination mechanisms Platform design architecture, including eight interrelated digital services derived from empirical user needs By linking participatory data (personas, user stories), system representations, and quantitative simulation models, the dataset enables reproducible, extensible, and application-oriented research on circular construction platforms.
