Wind Forecasting Dataset for STGATN

Our experimental area is located in the central part of Xinjiang, in the northwest region of China, between 86°57'51-"88°46'21" east longitude, and between 42°38'22-"44°23'26" north latitude. The experimental area covers large-scale wind farm such as the Sino-clean energy toli wind farm, the Guoneng dabancheng wind farm, the Xinjiang longyuan dabancheng wind farm, and the Huadian toli wind farm. We regard March, April, and May as spring, June, July, and August as summer, September, October, and November as autumn, and December, the following January, and the following February as winter. We collect hourly wind speed and surface pressure data from ERA5 for the years 2022 and 2023, and establish four datasets for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, namely LHZ_Spring, LHZ_Summer, LHZ_Autumn, and LHZ_Winter, for hourly wind speed forecasting. We calculate the daily average of wind speed and surface pressure based on the hourly data of 2022 and 2023, and create the LHZ dataset for daily wind speed forecasting.
本实验区域位于中国西北地区新疆中部,东经86°57′51″至88°46′21″,北纬42°38′22″至44°23′26″。该区域覆盖中清能源托里风电场、国能达坂城风电场、新疆龙源达坂城风电场及华电托里风电场等大型风电场站。本研究将3月、4月、5月划定为春季,6月、7月、8月为夏季,9月、10月、11月为秋季,12月及次年1月、2月划分为冬季。采集2022与2023年的ERA5逐小时风速与地表气压数据,构建春、夏、秋、冬四组用于逐小时风速预测的数据集,分别命名为LHZ_Spring、LHZ_Summer、LHZ_Autumn及LHZ_Winter。此外,基于2022-2023年的逐小时数据计算日平均风速与地表气压,创建用于日尺度风速预测的LHZ数据集。
