Uncertainty quantification of spruce wood: Compression test and images of material orientation

This data corresponds to the dissertation "Scalable gradient-based approaches for topology and shape optimization under uncertainty". It contains measurment data of compession tests of spruce specimens with the dimensions (l/w/t 50/10/5 mm). The specimens are tested in fiber direction. The filenames indicate the positions of the specimens on the original sheet. The first two numbers indicate the position in x-direction, the second two numbers indicate the position in y-direction. The letter A/B/C indicates the sheet number. Secondary, it contains scans of the surface of several spruce sheet, where the annual rings are perpendicular to the surface. In addition it contains the compression test data of topology optimized designs. Finally it also contains the manufacturing documents for the test setup.
