Rasmussen et al Journal of Animal Ecology 2014 included a laboratory experiment that examined size-based intraguild predation between the nymphs of two dragonfly species, Tramea carolina and Pantala flavescens. We added to each container one nymph of each species in 48 size combinations. At seven points during the experiment, we recorded whether a predation event had occurred. The experiment was ended after 72 hours.
