While multiple datasets exist for saliency detection, none are specifically tailored for high-resolution salient object detection (HRSOD). The HRSOD dataset comprises 1610 training images and 400 test images. All images were sourced from Flickr in 2010 and carry valid Creative Commons licenses. Pixel-level ground truths were manually annotated by 40 annotators. The shortest side of every image in the HRSOD dataset exceeds 1200 pixels.
