Integration of terrestrial radio and visual radio: A case study of m radio 98.8 Surabaya

In the process of developing transmission technology and internet applications, radio broadcasting institutions are constantly evolving. In an effort to improve management performance, any changes in radio broadcasting technology are always adaptable. This study utilises a qualitative approach that is still rarely used to review the integration of terrestrial and visual radio. Data collection techniques were used through field observations, interviews, and documentation studies. After data collection was completed, data analysis was conducted systematically in three aspects: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. In contrast to the transmission of radio broadcasts over the air or voice broadcasts, this study found that radio broadcasts can also be distributed through audio and video streaming on the internet (also known as the network) in the form of voice, text, images, and video.随着传输技术与互联网应用的持续迭代，广播播出机构正不断革新演进。为优化运营管理效能，广播播出技术的各项变革始终具备良好适配性。本研究采用了当前较为鲜少应用的质性研究（qualitative approach）方法，对地面广播与可视广播的融合发展展开考察评述。数据采集环节通过实地观察、访谈与文献研究三种方式完成。数据采集完毕后，研究从数据简化、数据呈现与结论推导三个维度开展系统性数据分析。相较于传统无线广播或语音广播的传输模式，本研究发现，广播内容还可依托互联网（又称网络）的音视频流进行分发，其呈现形式涵盖语音、文本、图像与视频。
