Dataset for dental microwear texture analysis of extant Japanese serow

This repository contains the dental microwear texture analysis data used in the study of Japanese serow. The dataset includes:1. Original Keyence scan files (.vk3)2. MountainsMap analysis files (.mnt)3. PDF exports of the MountainsMap analysis files4. Final processed surface files (.sur) Each file corresponds to one scan used as one analytical data point in the final dataset. The accompanying scan list links each scan name to the corresponding specimen ID.
