Data collection period: 19 February – 5 March 2018 Location: Goiabal Beach, Calçoene, Amapá, northern Brazil (2°31′02.2″N, 50°49′33.8″W) --- ### Description This dataset contains raw field data used in the study on intertidal Culicoides larval abundance on an Amazonian sandy beach. Sampling was conducted daily over 15 consecutive days, covering a full semidiurnal tidal cycle and spanning the entire lunar illumination range (0–100%). Three distances (50, 100, and 150 m) from the mean high-tide water line were sampled, each with three random replicates per day. The data were used to analyze spatial and temporal patterns of larval abundance in relation to tidal and lunar cycles. --- ### File included 1.
