The Abduction of Cybele by Saturn

The four big group of sculptures representing the four elements, which here is the earth, would have taken place at the heart of a number of figures, reunited by a group of four to represent parts of the world, the hours of the day, poems, the temperament of humans and the seasons. The earth is represented by the Goddess Cybele, who is accomponying her symbolic lion, lifted by Saturn.The group represents Time and Opportunity with Penitence. The winged figure of Time seizes Opportunity, but she seizes her own forelock and kills herself with a long spear.
