5G related capital expenditure (CAPEX) is expected to account for a significant portion of all CAPEX moving forward. In 2022 the 5G spending will amount to 48 billion U.S. dollars, and will peak at 50 billion in 2023 and 2024, followed by a decline of one billion U.S. dollars in 2025.
