Drone LiDAR dataset of Pangandaran coastal tourism hotspots for tsunami and climate risk valuation and exposure mapping
收藏资源简介:
High-resolution UAV–LiDAR dataset acquired over the main coastal tourism hotspots of Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia. This dataset provides point clouds in LAS format, enabling detailed cadastral-scale representation of coastal infrastructure and landscapes. Data was collected using a DJI Matrice 300 RTK equipped with a CHCNAV AA450 LiDAR payload, with precise positioning supported by Leica GS18T RTK ground control. Multiple mapping flights were flown at around 80 m altitudes above ground level and 70% side overlap, following grid flight paths to ensure dense and overlapping coverage. The resulting point density and georeferencing accuracy support fine-scale extraction of topographic features and built structures within densely visited coastal areas. This is one of the first openly available UAV–LiDAR datasets for an Indonesian coastal tourism region with high tsunami exposure, where such high-resolution 3D data have rarely been accessible. The dataset can be reused in diverse applications, including tsunami hazard exposure mapping, climate risk valuation, coastal planning, digital twin development, and educational purposes in remote sensing and coastal engineering. By providing an openly licensed, well-documented dataset, this contribution offers a baseline resource for research, teaching, and decision support related to disaster risk reduction and sustainable coastal management.
