Physiological and transcriptomic analysis of brassinosteroid function in kiwifruit root

In this work, combining physiological and transcriptomic research, we determined that BR has a positive effect on the regulation of kiwifruit root development. Our study establishes the kiwifruit root as a unique system of BR-dependent fast growth in the vine and lays a foundation for kiwifruit root improvement through the BR pathway. These findings are of great significance, as we can improve fruit yield and quality by improving plant root traits.
