资源简介:
The classfication of the different Inc group plasmids is based on the similarity of the <i>repA</i> gene in plasmids. Normally, the <i>repA</i> gene in newly collection plasmids is compared with the <i>repA</i> gene in NCBI database. If the similarity of the plasmids is lower than 95% in known Inc group plasmids. The plasmids should be classified into a newly identified Inc group. Through preliminary analysis using second-generation sequencing, 14 plasmids of previously unknown types were identified. These 14 plasmids constitute two novel incompatibility groups, and notably, they harbor a plethora of antibiotic resistance genes. Consequently, both two novel incompatibility groups are jointly included in the analysis. As of now, no genetic linkage between these two novel incompatibility groups has been observed. The overall genome sequences from <i>P. rettgeri</i> PROV114, PROV228, PROV073, PROV252, PROV280, PROV001, PROV050, PROV046, PROV099, PROV024, and PROV175 and <i>Providencia alcalifaciens</i> PROV013 were examined along with pCHS4.1-3 and pM2-1 from Genbank. The 14 plasmids were divided into two Inc groups: IncFIIpPROV114-NR (newly identified) and IncpCHS4.1-3 (newly designated), and a detailed sequence comparison was conducted on the 14 plasmids. Among these 14 plasmids (excluding pPROV114-NR), 45 acquired ARGs were identified, involving resistances to 14 distinct antibiotics and heavy metals.
