Trace element and high-precision Nd isotopic compositions of less deformed granites of the southern and central Aravalli Banded Gneiss Complex

Archean cratons display distinct geochemical characteristics through their evolution from TTG-like granites to more diverse granitic rock types, the latter of which typically arise in the late Archean and represent a transition to tectonic processes that more closely resemble what is observed on the modern Earth. To better understand this transition on a regional scale, this database considers the trace element and bulk Nd isotopic compositions of less deformed granitic rocks from the Aravalli Craton of northwest India. It was previously speculated that these rocks were genetically related because early U-Pb zircon data indicated they were of similar age, however this dataset and new U-Pb zircon data show that they represent a diverse ages and granitic types that represent geochemical evolution from the late Mesoarchean and throughout the Neoarchean Eras.
